2048

2048 is played on a simple gray 4x4 grid with tiles of different colors and a number in the center. The left, right, up and down arrow keys are used to move the tiles, which slide in their entirety across the board. If two tiles with the same number "collide" during a move, they will combine into a new tile, whose number will be the equivalent of the sum of the numbers of the two original tiles (i.e. if two tiles with the number 4 collide, they will combine into a tile with the number 8). However, the resulting tile cannot be combined with another tile again in the same move. High numbered tiles emit a soft glow. After a move is made, a new tile will appear on an empty spot on the board, which will have either the number 2 or the number 4.

The game records the user's score with a marker in the upper right margin. The score starts at zero and, when two tiles are combined, it is increased by the value of the resulting tile. Next to the current score, the user's best score is displayed, in the style of Arcade games.
